Nikka's newly restored kitchen is in the same place as hers, and the room has been given top-of-the-line surfaces and quality white goods.
The stoves
After dinner in the cozy "Spisestova", which accommodates 12, we suggest relaxation, a fire in the fireplace, and good drinks in the "Bestestova".
Bathroom
The main bathroom in Nikkahuset is a sensual experience. Much of the old timber has been preserved, and the bathroom has top comfort.
Outdoor area
Nikkahuset is a 250-year-old cottage on Raten Gard. The cozy courtyard around the nikkahuset invites you to activities such as barbecuing, swimming and sunbathing.
Jacuzzi & Sauna
This summer, an outdoor bathing area at Nikkahuset was completed. Here you will surely find peace and enjoy the nice view of the river.

Where can you find us?
In the beautiful village of Valldal on Sunnmøre in Møre og Romsdal you will find Nikkahuset on the national tourist route Geiranger - Trollstigen. Surrounded by steep mountains and wild nature, the house is idyllically situated on the farm Raten, within walking distance of the fierce potholes of Gudbrandsjuvet and Juvet Landskapshotell.
